Terms and Conditions

Delivery Methods

We aim to deliver your purchase quickly and securely at the best price available.

All deliveries are Next Day and will usually require a signature as proof of delivery. It is often easier to have items delivered to your workplace or an address where there is usually someone available to sign.

We use Fastway Couriers for delivery. On despatch, we will send you a reference number with which you can track your parcel on their website http://www.fastwaycouriers.co.uk/.

Delivery Prices

Mainland UK We deliver to the UK for £8.50 + VAT (£9.99) for orders of up to 25Kg in weight.
Please note that we do not currently deliver to Highlands and Islands.

Delivery Times

Each product displays the usual delivery time as a guide. Please note that this is not a guarantee – if you need to confirm availability please contact us. If we cannot deliver within the time indicated we will contact you as soon as possible to advise the updated delivery time. We aim to do this within 1 working day.

Items shown as ‘In stock’ are usually dispatched the same day for next day delivery (weekdays only, if ordered before 2.00pm). Stock levels are not ‘real time’ but are updated periodically throughout the day - there may be instances where an item shown as ‘In Stock’ is no longer available (e.g. multiple orders of a single product between updates). If you require urgent delivery we would always recommend you contact us to confirm real time availability and avoid disappointment.

Please allow up to 14 days for custom made items.

Returns

For custom made items (including quilts, throws and curtains), we will only accept returns due to manufacturing faults or if we have supplied the worng item.

You will receive a returns form with your order which can be used to send the item back. Full instructions are provided on the form.

For all other (non-custom made) items, you can send an item back for any reason within 14 days - if an item is sent back unused we will exchange it for another product or provide a full refund.

You hold responsibility for the item until it reaches us so you should ensure that it is well packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Postage will be charged for replacements and the original postage charge is not refundable.

Cancellations

For custom made items (including quilts, throws and curtains), you may not cancel your order after we have started to cut the cloth.

For all other items, you may cancel your order for any reason prior to shipping and we will provide a full refund.
Any items cancelled after we have shipped your order will need to be returned to us at your expense before we can refund the full value of the items (but not the postage).
Returned items must be sent back unused in their original condition.

Privacy and Data Protection

As with all shopping websites, we collect personal information from you when you shop online at www.cushcush.co.uk (Southwold). We use this information to make your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We use it to process your order, inform you of any delays or problems and occasionally to send you information about our special offers and promotions – but only with your permission. We never sell or rent data to third parties.

The information we collect is:

  • Your name
  • Email address – to confirm your order or let you know about delivery delays, offers etc. We hate spam, we don’t send it, and we do not sell, rent or give lists to third parties to send it.
  • Delivery address and billing address.
  • Telephone number – we’ll only call if we have a delivery problem, we never cold call.

We do not store your credit card details.

There are only two circumstances where we may share some of your data with others:

  • With agents (including credit reference agencies, credit card clearing agencies, and fraud prevention and detection agencies) that we use to process the orders you place with us or who assist us in the service we provide to you. In these instances, we provide them with only the information they need to perform their function.
  • In the unlikely event that our business assets are ever sold to or purchased by another company. (Our data records are part of our business).

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites send to your computer. They let the website know when a user has returned and this lets the site bring up information relevant to that user, for example your name, past orders etc.

Cookies make the interaction between users and websites faster and easier. Without cookies, it would be very difficult for a website to allow a visitor to fill up a shopping basket or to remember the user's preferences or registration details for a future visit. Like most ecommerce sites, we use cookies in this way.

Cookies are not computer programs, and can't read other information saved on your hard drive. They cannot be used to spread viruses, or get a user's e-mail addresses etc. They only contain and transfer to the website as much information as the users themselves have disclosed to that website.

Google Checkout

We offer an online payments via the Google Checkout process. This will enable you to pay using a number of card types (Visa, MasterCard etc.).
If you wish to pay online, simply click the 'Google Checkout' button in your basket.

  • With Google Checkout, you can quickly and easily buy from www.cushcush.co.uk and many other stores across the web.
  • If you have used Google Checkout before, all you need to do is provide your Checkout username and password to buy from us.
  • If you are using Google Checkout for the first time, you only have to fill out a single page of information to make your first purchase. After that, you just need to enter your Google Checkout login to make a purchase. There is no need to re-enter your purchase information or create multiple usersnames and passwords each time that you buy from different sites.
  • When you buy with Google Checkout, you can track all your orders in one place and shop with confidence knowing that Google protects you from unauthorised purchases.
